Pastor SikiyaniDirector of God Help Us Children’s Organization (GHUCO)
Pastor Sikiyani, aged 68, married, 5 children living, 6 children deceased, missionary in Zimbabwe for 48 years. He has planted 5 churches in Zimbabwe, 6 in Malawi, and 1 in Mozambique. He cares for the 17 children living at his compound and looks after the well being of orphans and vulnerable children in the Goromonzi District.

Benigna GonyoraAccounts and Food Distribution Coordinator
Benigna Gonyora: Age 46: widow (HIV Positive): 4 children, 2 grandchildren.  Worked for Zimbabwe Widows and Orphans Trust for 3 years voluntary as administration officer and program coordinating officer for HIV programs. Volunteers for GHUCO doing secretarial duties and accounting. Helps P Sikiyani to estimate food quantities and quotes for the Goromonzi Project children. Also teaching women in Goromonzi how to keep books for food distribution. Holds a Harare Polytechnic secretarial diploma and is an activist on Positive Living.

Elaeanor AlfredCounselor and Healthcare Coordinator
Eleanor Alfred: Age 42: widow (HIV Positive) No Children. Lives in Mabvuku. Worked as a volunteer coordinator for three years with Widows and Orphans Trust. Active in HIV programs. Studying counseling and nutrition on HIV Positive Living.  Qualified in Mother and Child Care. Volunteers as a counselor in Mabvuku and also volunteers as counselor and advisor with The Goromonzi Project and GHUCO. Very enthusiastic about the projects. Wants to learn to ride a motorbike so that she can reach more of the children.

Isdore MughodiCaregiver
Isdore Mughodi, is a herbalist, a nurse and a caregiver for the children. Working with Eleanor Alfred allows him to give special attention to the boys, while she works with the girls.

Carrie LaphamGeneral Facilitator
Carrie Lapham: Age 56: married. 5 stepdaughters and step grand children, all living outside of Zimbabwe. Surrogate + sponsor grandmother to 2 young Shona children living on same property. Physiotherapist, mostly in rehabilitation in Zimbabwe. Volunteers for GHUCO as general facilitator; her husband, Don advises on finances, She also volunteers for Reach for Recovery (breast cancer survivor), Art of Living and Counseling Service Unit. Particularly interested in art and design for living. She provides venue, stationary, computer, internet use, transport.

Building Advisor
Biggie Ruwuzhi: Age 40: married with 2 Children. Trained as a pastor, driver, and builder. Lives in Mabvuku. Involved with Welcome Home Project (a Santa Fe organization that builds houses for orphans and their surrogate mothers in Goromonzi). Attends GHUCO meetings as a visitor to the group.

Coordinator
Fiona Thomson: Zimbabwean, professional educator currently teaching English at Gateway High School in Harare. She was initially involved in the Goromonzi area through her church working with Pastor Sikiyani, and took her sister Janet Shaw there on a visit in August 2005. She volunteers as a liaison between the US and Zimbabwe and oversees the spending of US funds in Zimbabwe. She facilitates the three activity days Goromonzi Project holds for the children each year.

Munyaradzi HlomweEducation Coordinator
Munyaradzi Hlomwe, age 20, is the education coordinator. He disburses funds for school tuition, fees, and uniforms over a wide area, traveling on foot to schools throughout the Goromonzi area.

Terence MusikavanhuYouth Group Coordinator
Terence Musikavanhu, age 22, supports and facilitates the Young Adult Interest Groups.
